PEM was founded in 1993 with a duplex in the city of Detroit. With the goal of providing a better apartment living experience, PEM grew to over 4,000 apartment units within 12 years before selling the entire portfolio and moving to Arizona in 2005.
Currently, PEM has over 7,500 apartment units across the nation. PEM continues to be one of the most consistent operators in the United States.

PEM Real Estate Group currently has real estate holdings including multi-family, retail, commercial and raw land in the following states — Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee and Texas.
